do we need a planner?we would say that if you value your sanity on your wedding day, and you want to actually enjoy your wedding, hiring a wedding day-of-coordinator is PRICELESS. we also believe that if you have a strict budget, doing your own design and planning work is a smart option for those who are able – but keep in mind – planning and designing a wedding is not an easy task (although it can be really fun), and many couples are not prepared to do the work required on their own to achieve the wedding they desire. the panic sets in about 3-6 months out this is where wedding planners and designers come in handy -- we’ve done this before, we can hook you up and relieve your worries and take over your to do list immediately.

why hire a planner?a planner can save you time spent researching and planning! we will also help you prioritize your vendors, get your budget in order, provide qualified vendor referrals, accompany you to vendor meetings and know what questions to ask, review vendor contracts, negotiate on your behalf, and save you money. in the final month prior to your wedding, a planner will confirm your vendors, make a timeline, run your rehearsal, and be there to make sure that you can put your feet up and sip some bubbly, and soak in all the details.
-
what kind of planning do i need?once we are in touch with you, we will ask a few questions in order to learn more about your upcoming wedding. then, we are happy to meet with you for a complimentary consultation to discuss your wedding and your coordination needs, as well as answer any questions you have. after learning more about your needs, we will determine if a certain package is a good fit, or we will customize something to meet your needs.
-
how soon should we hire you?let's get the party started ASAP! we recommend booking a wedding planner as soon as possible (six to twelve months ahead of your wedding date is typical for wedding design and full planning) a wedding coordinator should be booked six months ahead of your wedding date if possible, but if we have a coordinator available we would less notice is frequently possible to accommodate as long as a coordinator has your event date free.
-
my venue/caterer has a coordinator, do we still need you?"we have worked for venues and as caterers in our past lives, so we can say with certainty they do not replace a wedding planner or coordinator. venue and catering managers work for your venue or catering company -- your wedding planner or coordinator works for you. on your wedding day, their focus is delivering their contracted services -- ensuring the venue set up is accurate [tables, chairs and place setting only], the food is out on time and that tear down happens seamlessly. in addition, a venue coordinator or catering manager often departs once the meal is served. this may be an important consideration if your are looking for support to set up your décor prior, mange your vendor team, and/or manage your event and timeline from set up through tear down.
-
how many weddings do you plan/coordinate in a weekend?we want our couples to know that they are our number one priority on their wedding week -- this means you will have the undivided attention of our team.
-
will you be at our rehearsal?yes, it is crucial that we attend and run the ceremony rehearsal in conjunction with your officiant, so it is automatically included in every package. unless your church has specific rules about their team running the rehearsal, in which case we will be there to help facilitate.
-
will you help me find vendors?we have a lengthy list of vendors we adore and we refer vendors that will fit your style, personality, and budget. after meeting with you and getting to know more about you and your wedding, we send you vendor referrals that are selected especially for you.
-
we have friends/family that have offered to coordinate our big day, why do we need you?"as helpful as your friends and family will be during your planning, they shouldn't have to work on your wedding day. you're paying for them to be guests, let them enjoy the party.
-
do you travel?we will bring the party wherever you want to go! for destination weddings, a small travel fee will apply and hotel accommodations will be required, but we’ll talk about that upfront during your initial consultation.
